OVERVIEW

John and Jackie have been the best of friends for over 7 years. They share a deep passion for the outdoors, which is no surprise since both of their families have a long history of being sportsmen. Recently, they discovered an incredible opportunity to explore their love for fishing in the beautiful Venice Marina. This all started with a simple trip that was donated to a silent auction to help veterans. John won the trip and decided to go on it without knowing what he was getting into. It turned out to be a coastal trip of a lifetime that he will never forget.

After years of being invited, Jackie finally booked a trip with Captain Draper, a close friend and one of the founding members of the top offshore charters in Venice Marina. The day was a resounding success as they went flying around the Gulf of Mexico on a 42’ freeman with four quads 400s, catching limits of yellowfin tuna and red snapper. It was an experience of a lifetime, and they both knew why they call it The Fishing Capitol of the World and the Outdoor.

Jackie Murski

Jackie is an intriguing individual with a unique blend of upbringing and experiences. She was raised in Minnesota but has been living in Texas for 15+ years, which has given her a unique perspective on life. She has a strong hosting, culinary arts, and entertainment background that can cater to any customer's needs. With a history of owning a large private high-fenced trophy whitetail deer ranch in central Texas, she knows how to entertain high-end clientele who share a common interest in wanting an experience outside the catch.

Furthermore, Jackie has over ten years of experience in real estate and manages and consults in her free time. She also actively rescues dogs at Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels, a no-kill rescue in her local county.

Jackie values outdoor conservationism and hopes to redefine the meaning of "all-inclusive" at Venice Marina. Her adventurous spirit and the ability to adapt to different cultures make her an ideal host for those looking for a unique and memorable experience.

John Maxwell

The story of John (goes by Maxwell) is quite fascinating! He was raised in Saint Jo, Texas, by his adopted parents, and had a wonderful country life that allowed him to explore the great outdoors. After a thrilling experience fishing offshore and inshore in the Gulf, he realized the need to offer outdoor sports enthusiasts an all-inclusive experience in Venice Marina. To turn his vision into reality, he partnered with his longtime friend and fellow outdoor enthusiast, Jackie Murski.

John has over 20 years of experience in construction, with a specialization in metal building and concrete work. He has also dabbled in remodels and gutter jobs, giving him a well-rounded resume. He has taken on larger projects as well, such as contracting storefronts in the DFW airport, where he services and replaces their glass operable storefront panels. His most recent achievement is developing 44 acres of land into an RV park, complete with container cabins for rent, just outside Port Sulphur, Louisiana. This project has brought The Outdoor Addicts full circle in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.
